The Passover meal provides historical context and theological significance to the Christian Church in its observance of the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  By participating in this event, the congregation will better understand the historical significance of the Last Supper and more readily identify the theological significance of the celebration the Lord’s Supper.  As a result, the celebration of Easter will be enriched.
