Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

 

 

1st Quarter – recitation anytime in December 2014

 

Unit 1  -  John 14:15       

If  you love me, you will obey what I command.

 

Unit 2   -  Psalm 121:2      

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 

 

Unit 3  -  Psalm 121:5a    

The Lord watches over you.

  

2nd Quarter – recitation anytime in February 2015

 

Unit 4   -  Psalm 121:7      

The Lord will keep you from all harm.  He will watch over your life.  

 

Unit 5  -  John 14:23a 

"If anyone loves me, he will obey my teachings." 

 

Unit 6   -  Mark 10:14b

Lesson 1 – Psalm 25:4

Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths.

 

Lesson  2 – Deuteronomy 5:32

So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left.

 

Lesson 3 – Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?

 

Lesson 4 – Psalm 138:8

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me.

 

Lesson 5 – Ephesians 2:10

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

 

2nd Quarter – recitation anytime in February 2015

 

Lesson 6 – Romans 12:21

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

 

Lesson 7 – Hebrews 13:16

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
