Community and Mercy Ministries

We are involved in sharing the love of Christ in tangible ways through financial support and by volunteering at agencies such as the ones listed below. If you want to serve Christ in this way, please contact Pastor Bob Barnett.

• Koinonia Foundation (Christian organization providing assistance to people in need, as Fairfax county's designated agency in the Greater Kingstowne/Franconia area)

• Franconia Area Churches ESL Cooperative (teaches English to our immigrant neighbors)

• Meals on Wheels (serves the elderly in Fairfax county)

• Good News Jail and Prison Ministry (serves in Alexandria and Fairfax County prisons)

•  Sanctity of Life Ministries (counsels and supports women contemplating abortion)

Covenant Village

Through the active volunteer service and financial contributions of our members, we support the work of nearby Covenant Village Camp and Retreat Center.  Located located in south central Pennsylvania (about two hours from Washington DC), Covenant Village is used for church retreats, youth and adult groups, family reunions, and summer experiences such as our summer work and Pioneer camp.
