Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Our Sunday school program provides opportunities for men and women to learn the God's Word and to consider how to apply its truths in today's world

We are committed to the inerrancy of the Bible and teaching in the Reformed tradition.

Sunday school meets at 9:45 each Sunday morning.

During each quarter, our Sunday school program offers a variety of classes in Bible, Christian thought and practical discipleship.

For Winter 2010 (January 10 - March 2010), we have the following Sunday school classes:

THRU-THE-BIBLE

The Gospel of Luke

David C. Cook's "Thru-the-Bible" study guide for Luke will take us on a journey from teh Birth of Christ, through His earthly ministry, and finish with His death and resurrection. Enjoy a group discussion as we seek to understand how this record of history affects our lives today!

Taught by Todd Boone. Meets in Fellowship Hall.

IN-DEPTH BIBLE STUDY

The Acts of the Apostles

We will explore in depth the Acts of the Apostles; the very first Evangelism Explosion! Explore the background of the book and the situation faced by the early church, and examine what we know about the main character. We'll see how the Holy Spirit used the early church to "turn the world upside down."

Taught by Tom Beach. Meets in Fellowship Hall.

     PRACTICAL CHRISTIAN LIVING

     Evangelism Explosion

One of the main reasons Christians do not share the faith is that they feel ill-prepared to explain the gospel and bring others to Christ. That's where Evangelism Explosion (EE) comes in. Expanding on the one-day "Share Your Faith" workshop we offered last September, you'll master a simple step-by-step method for sharing your faith. No more arguments! No more pressure! You'll learn how to talk to people about Jesus pleasantly and convincingly and, as God enables, lead them to trust Christ. Everyone is welcome to participate! To help you get the most out of the class, a training notebook and learning cards will be available for a cost of $15.

For those who want to go deeper, an on-the-job training component will be offered on selected weeknights to practice what you've learned in the classroom. You'll do more study and earn "EE Level 1" certification. A trainee kit will be available at a cost of $35 (includes notebook and learning cards).

Taught by Pastor Bob Barnett. Meets in the Multi-Purpose Room.

     YOUNG PROFESSIONALS CLASS

We are a group of young professionals in our 20s and 30s, establishing ourselves in our careers and
relationships as we grow in Christ. As a key part of our ministry, our Sunday school class gives us opportunities
to develop friendships and encourage each other in our faith. Our format and topics vary each quarter as we
seek to know the Bible and relevantly apply its teachings in our lives.

Taught by Joe Lingevitch & Jared Gauntt. Meets in Room 126.
